  • Co-founder and shareholder of a private security company providing armed and unarmed guard services to Fort Worth, Texas, area businesses.
  • Clients also retain the company to conduct private investigations into alleged criminal activities to aid law enforcement authorities, employee theft, background checks, and employment law related issues.

Judge Ruben Gonzalez developed his conservative values as an U.S. Air Force intelligence officer and as a tough Tarrant County prosecutor. Whether in the military or as an attorney, Judge Gonzalez has literally spent his life defending Americans and defending Texans like you. As a tough conservative Judge, Ruben Gonzalez understands that his job is to make sure that criminals pay a price for their crimes. Criminals must learn that Tarrant County is the wrong place to commit a crime and it is Judge Gonzalez’ job to make sure they understand.


Judge Gonzalez is known as a judge who treats all parties with respect. Whether you are an attorney, a victim or a defendant, Judge Gonzalez takes his responsibility seriously. Judge Gonzalez took an oath to defend the constitution and he keeps that oath in mind every minute that he sits on the judicial bench.


Few judges have taken the bench with such diverse experience as Judge Ruben Gonzalez. Judge Gonzalez had experience as a prosecutor, as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Military and as active volunteer in the local community. Judge Gonzalez’s many years of experience have made him a better judge.


Judge Ruben Gonzalez was an intelligence officer for the U.S. Air Force, focusing primarily on the Soviet Union, Warsaw Pact and Middle East countries. During his military tenure (1987-1992) Ruben was handpicked to serve positions in intelligence units, Headquarters Strategic Air Command, the Joint Chiefs of Staff – Joint Strategic Target Planning Staff (the nation’s nuclear war planning staff) and United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM). After his time on active duty service Ruben served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. After 9/11, Ruben volunteered to returned to the active Reserves. His unit participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in Afghanistan.
